So let's do the math.  7 runs given up with only 1 out for the Cubs, 1/3 of an inning.  So 7 divided by 1/3 equals 21 and multiplying by 9 innings--which, thanks to all goodness and kindness in the Universe, Dempster did not throw that day--yields us, cubs fans and fellow sufferers, an ERA of one-hundred-eighty-nine' for 9 innings if the slaughter continues.

One must seriously question whether the Orlando Magic have a soul, much less a beating heart, because not even a rat, a donkey, whupped dog, or even a proverbial dead horse would accept the kind of beating handed out to them by the Celtics. No spark of life for the first three games. Too little too late.
