Insh' Allah.
Today, America and the rest of the industrialized world took an enormous step in advacing the cause of peace. An agreement with Iran to limit their nuclear program stands in the best interest of the entire world. While not perfect, no agreement would have left Iran unfettered to store up enough plutonium for some futre leader to use rashly, to the detriment oof millions of human beings.
Cue up the predictable ranting and raving among the American Dinosaurs. Idjuts. Me, I'm strapping on the headphones grooving the Dead and waiting for the evening news.
May you live in teresting times.\
Insh' Allah.

Who knew...
... there was an Indiana in Pennsylvania and that they had a University with a men's basketball team in the Division 2 national title game?
As a resident of Central Florida, I knew about Florida Southern College with several buildings designed by Frank Floyd Wright.
Did not, however, know the College men's basketball team would play for and win the Daivision 2 championship. Yay! Moccasains!

Stupid Crrok News; Wait, this might make most enterprising crooks ever!
Look, as a society with rule of law, we do not condone thievery, and seek to jail thieves, even if they do steal a $100,000 worth of toothbrushes. What did the thieves, Clint and Mary Curtis, do, walk in Walgreen's and stick bushels of toothbrushes down their pants.
Also, where did they sell their purloined wares? As for me, common sense dictates using great care in selecting what to put in my mouth, and will buy mine at Walgreen's thank you very much.
Buying toothbrushes at a flea market or out of the trunk of a car? No bloody way!

My Intervention
My family staged an intervention for me. They asked me to start drinking again.
"You get really mean when sober."
"You use sarcasm because you can't speak honestly when sober."
"When sober, you act like a real ass."
This from people related to me by blood who don't know me.
Thanks, guys.

Danny Trejo, from San Quentin prison to actor
Trejo, who has his own brand of movies--the Machete series--uttered the immortal line, "Machete don't text." Also, turns out he has quite an interesting back story.

HappY Pi Day: 3.14159265359
While for most uses people use 3.14 to calculate circumference or diameter of a circle, people have also calculated pito a million and trillion decimal places.
Many Americans let distaste for Mathematics fester from grade school or even through high school; we can hardly live without it. Math can prove a harsh mistress as those many bank overdraft charges show; nevertheless with it, engineers and architects and programmers design our modern world.
Parents if you feel intimidated by your child's math homework, learn alongside them. Old dogs can learn new concepts. Teach your children well.
Celebrate mathematics! Start today especially as it marks Super Pi Day: 3-14-15.

Iron Man Gives Bionic Arm to Boy
[Robert Downey Jr., who stars in "Iron Man" as Tony Stark, posted a two-minute video on Twitter of his meeting with 7-year-old Alex Pring, of Groveland, on Thursday. (View the video by clicking the link above)
"When I flew to Georgia, I had to stay in a hotel for about two days," said first-grader Alex Pring, who didn't know much, except that he was getting a new 3D-printed arm.
The clip starts with Alex and Albert Manero, a UCF aerospace engineering student, walking down a hallway on Saturday in Atlanta. Manero and his UCF group, Limbitless Solutions, produces 3-D printed bionic arms for children and designed Alex's first bionic arm in 2014.
Downey greets Alex and tells him he is another bionic expert. He then presents Alex with a matching Iron Man arm.]

Chuck Lorre Vanity Card: True but censored, #375
Censored because Republicans can't handle the truth.
CHUCK LORRE PRODUCTIONS, #375 (CENSORED):
[Forgive me a moment of political reflection, but I'd like to take this opportunity to discuss something that's been on my mind for a very long time. I've always understood the Republican Party to have, as its central platform, the idea that human beings should never be dominated by a monolithic government which tells them how to live their lives. I like that. It feels like a fundamental truth, and I can't imagine any right-minded person finding fault with it. I've also noticed that there are many in the Grand Old Party who insist on telling people exactly how they should live. For example: Alcohol, yes. Pot, no. Straight marriage, yes. Gay marriage, no. Jesus, yes. Others prophets, no. The death penalty, yes. Abortion, no. Capitalism, yes (by force if need be). Collectivism, hell no! Added to this is an inclination to find anyone who chooses these other paths to be deeply repugnant. All of which causes me to wonder, is there a middle ground? In fact, are there big political gains awaiting those of a conservative bent if they can figure out a way to celebrate individual freedom while simultaneously tolerating diversity of opinion and lifestyle? With that in mind, I humbly propose the following slogan designed to both embrace this paradox and ignite the general electorate in the coming presidential campaign.] emphasis added
