New Tradition: Kill Your Brother for Christmas

Sounds like a great tradition, at least until you run out of brothers.  To avoid me, my family left me stuck in damn nursing home because he likes my fat pig sister better than me.

But I don't plan on killing any of 'em. however.

[ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies are investigating after a man allegedly shot and killed his brother in Pine Hills on Christmas Day.

Deputies responded to the 5000 block of Altec Court at about 3 p.m. Friday.

They said the two brothers, who have not been identified, were in some kind of dispute when one opened fire.

The victim was killed, and his brother was in custody.

Family members at the scene were very shaken up, and neighbors were stunned that something like a fight led to a shooting on Christmas.

Family and friends tried to console each other as deputies worked the scene.

“I just feel for everybody around here, because I'm sure everybody's trying to enjoy this day, and that just put a damper on everything,” said resident Adolph Tolliver.]  emphasis added because OMG!  "Put a damper on festivities."  YOU THINK!

Got back from dialysis Saturday and had big Christmas bag on my bed with gift cushy blanket and this priceless--treasured forever--Christmas card from the Grandmothers and Grandkids club of Mount Moriah church just south of my Island Hell.

If you ever wonder what to get someone in a nursing home, a blanket will always do.

Nevertheless, think the card amounts to greatest treasure of all;  my bah humbug savage Christmas blues be damned.

[The mother of Amadou Diallo reeled at the news: One of the four cops who killed her unarmed son in a 41-shot fusillade is set for an NYPD promotion — and a raise.

Old wounds reopened quickly Wednesday with word of Officer Kenneth Boss’ elevation to sergeant nearly 17 years after the divisive Feb. 4, 1999, shooting of the black West African immigrant by four white cops in the Bronx.

“You have so many police officers out there who deserve to be promoted, and this man is being promoted?” a bewildered Kadiatou Diallo asked the Daily News.

“For doing what? Killing my son? I don’t have any hatred or revenge in my heart, but my life was changed forever that day. This is a stab in the heart.”

Since watching so much TV throws loads o' crap at me--especially local news reporting: robberies, rapes, and everyone' favorite, murder--when a profoundly positive story leaps out at ya and can change your very outlook on life in this winter of Trump.

American Jews, themselves an often reviled race, stood up for fellow Americans of Islamic faith by protesting for civil rights of Muslims.

This should end Donald Chump's buffoonery once and for all.

It won't, but I'll sleep better.

This Hanukkah, Jews across the U.S. are taking to the street to rally against the Islamophobia and racism rampant in their communities. 

On each night in the eight-day-long religious holiday, Jewish activists are participating in protests against various forms of injustice in a campaign initiated by the Network Against Islamophobia, a project called for by national peace organization Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) to challenge anti-Muslim bigotry, along with Jews Against Islamophobia, a coalition of JVP-New York and the activist group Jews Say No! 

The demonstrations are being held in 15 cities throughout the country, including Chicago, Boston, Miami, Seattle, Atlanta.
