Foreclosure for "Rent Too Damn High" Guy

Too damn funny, not that one should generally find amusement in foreclosure.

[Jimmy McMillan, the man who ran for New York governor because "the rent is too damn high," is facing eviction from his Manhattan apartment.

McMillan told The Associated Press the landlord at his rent-controlled apartment complex wants to charge a new tenant more money and is trying to give him the boot because "my rent is too damn low."

He said he's told his lawyer to file a $70,000 counter claim. The case is currently pending in Housing Court.

According to court documents, building owner Lisco Holdings claims McMillan violated his lease because his apartment is not his primary address as required by rent-controlled rules.
McMillan said the Brooklyn address listed in court papers is his office.]
