Hate to Leave the Hospital Again but am Healthier Now

Kind of sucks: home alone again, un-surrounded by nubile female nurses and caring attendants who laughed at my jokes and took excellent care of me. Found myself watching Springer today with first segment on costume play couple role playing "My Little Pony," innocent but weird. Next bit had segment with female angry her boyfriend went back on promise to give up guys, his words,"but we didn't say anything about trannies,' and of course boyfriend dating tranny named London also found even more flamboyant trann at White Castle, brouhaha ensues.

Even more bizarre watching ESPN resident paranoid schizophrenic with delusions of grandeur, Skip Bayliss. lose whatever left of his sanity, saying on Monday Phil Mickelson made him "feel sick to be an American" during Ryder Cup by applauding winners. Apparently, Lefty ought to have pulled an international object from his wrestling tights and clocked McElroy.

Today, he went full on berserker on Tony Romo for throwing to Dez Bryant for hot read on blitz in Monday Night Football Dallas vs Chicago game, "You can't throw it to that knucklehead!" After long and patient explanation from former NFL coach Eric Mangini explaining the coverage--used for years by Lovie Smith's defenses--Skip defended his insight by mentioning all the time he spent with legendary coaches Don Shula and Tom Landry.

Pressed further, he responded with customary humility, "At least I didn't get fired twice as NFL coach."

How long must I cry out to thee Bayliss and Thou will not answer, Lord? (It's in Habakkuk)

All to say my arrogance also borders on absurd, but do own it and find myself funnier than Skip.

Hmmm, maybe this explains things somewhat: [Although he was born John Edward Bayless II in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, his father immediately began calling him Skip or Skipper. The name stuck, and Skip Bayless was never called John by his parents. He eventually had his name legally changed to Skip. He is also the older brother of chef, restaurateur and TV personality Rick Bayless.]

All told, found springer's guest more sane than Skip, but mos' def' time to get home to Paladin and Have Gun Will Travel on Encore Western channel.
