Ignorance knows no boundary of color.politicians have corrupted truth for centuries. What people dont about is black soldiers slept ate and fought beside whites in confederate armies yet where segregated in union armies and treated as expendable commodities . And yes they experienced ignorance and racism in both sides.but the truth is I once had the pleasure and honor to meet an older black man who had a journal written poorly but written documentation of his grandfather exploit in the civil war. So learn to research things before developing an opinion. And record I'm white and rebel to the core and my precious god daughter is full black and beautiful. The war on slavery is a front to control the masses. It was fought over agricultural verses textiles and manufacturing. Some of the first share croppers in the south were freed slaves who worked hhe land to provide for there families. Grant they made less than white croppers. But life isnt fair just look at what European settlers did to many Indian nations. Some no longer exist.

For those who believe the lies of your liberal school teachers and media that the civil war was about slavery and human rights … ask yourself this little fact. The Civil war was from April 12, 1861 to April 9, 1865... Yet Custards Last Stand was June 25th,26th 1876 … WAIT now how could that be true...an 1876 US Military campaign against the Sioux? But 10 years prior that same army fought to free slaves and to stand for human rights...Oh that's right I remember now...they said the Indians were savages so I guess they didn't count. Wake up people and don't believe the lies about our uprising against an over taxing government. Research and find the truth. It had NOTHING to do with slavery until it was convenient for the government to claim it was.

It was about slavery. Check YOUR facts read every state's declaration of independence at beginning of civil war. They stress heavily they want to keep their "GOD GIVEN RIGHTS" to keep their slaves.

Dummies hollering heritage not hate just don't have the balls to admit they are racists. I was born and bred in texas and wave the rebel flag always but I hate certain types of people irregardless of race.
