NASA Photo Gallery for Earth Day

Wow!!!!

Few things in writing require even a single exclamation point, but these images, found from Talking Points Memo, really excited the space geek in me, still partly the little kid in Milwaukee, WI, given the day off from grade school to watch Gemini launches, eating lunch on a TV stand in the living room.


You really should look at the whole NASA Earth Day Gallery.  Image above numbered as 36 and shows a composite of photos of earth at night.

For your consideration at at future time, please note the plethora of lights in the "civilized" world come at cost of environmental degradation for the whole planet: global warming, climate change, air pollution, and whole in the ozone layer, pictured below.
