Took a short stay in Orlando vacation, albeit in the hospital as confluence of a few minor medical issues.
6 days of breakfast, dinner, and supper in bed can really renew one's body if not mind while sentenced to watch basic cable.
Nevertheless, thanks to all the caregivers--Cynthia, Alicia, Solange, Marie, Sam and Peter in the ER--too many to name individually but all with more humanity than I can muster as don't really like people, especially sick ones.
People tend to live as humans: whiny, needful, hypocritical and constitutionally unable to listen to reason, which of course does not describe me at all.
But even be it ever such a hovel, there would still be no place like home.
Hang on, it will make a wild ride as have near a week worth of irony, sarcasm, observations, bile, rage and humour stored up to vent forth here, beginning with the city Orlando versus Orlando Food Not Bombs.
